Kimi Antonelli at the centre of an impressive Pop-up Card
For Signify, we developed a follow-up mailing that not only informs, but above all impresses through the execution of the card itself. Central to this mailing is the pop-up mechanism, which creates a strong visual effect immediately upon opening. As soon as the Pop-up Card is unfolded, the centre section comes forward, creating a three-dimensional stage on which both the Formula 1 car and driver Kimi Antonelli literally step off the map. This provides a direct link to the experience of the event and immediately attracts attention.
The entire map is designed in the recognisable style of Mercedes-AMG Petronas. Dark tones, combined with subtle silver and green accents, create a high-end and technical look that perfectly complements the brand. The typography and image choice reinforce this feeling, making the card feel instantly like part of the Mercedes universe. This not only communicates the event, but also visually reinforces the partnership.
What makes this card extra strong is the way the design and content come together. The inside provides space for practical information, but it is fully integrated into the design. Think of a "race grid"-like structure at the bottom of the map. As a result, the information does not feel stand-alone, but as a logical part of the whole.
The result is a marketing solution that is not just functional, but actually becomes an object. A card that you don't just throw away, but that stays and is looked at again. In doing so, this mailing prolongs the experience of the event and creates a lasting impression with the recipient.
